Legacy Points

Your families legacy is what defines it. The actions you take determine what the bards and history books write about you.

As a possible alternative to controlling the most land or becoming a King- though both are rewarded. Legacy Points could be the determining factor in who wins Diplomacy.

Legacy Point Goal: 100

Each player starts with x Legacy points x points=5 points for up to 5 heirs, 3 for the first 3 territories and 1 for first castle.


Gain points

1. Successfully colonizing an empty region (+1)

You've paid 2/2, waited the necessary time and the region has started producing for you.

2. Successfully building a castle (+2)

You've paid 2/2, waited the necessary time and the castle has started producing for you

3. Sending a squire (+2)

You've sent one of your sons/grandsons to squire for another player's character.

4. Accepting a squire/fosterling (+2)

You've accepted a member of another player's House as a squire/fosterling.

5. Marrying another House (+4)

You've married one of your daughters/sons to the daughter/son of another player.

6. Making a NAT (+3)

You've established a NAT with another player.

7. Conquering an enemy territory (+2)

You've sacked another player's territory, waited the necessary time and it has started producing for you.

8. Taking an enemy castle (+3)

You've successfully sieged another player's castle and taken it. No need to wait for it to start producing.

9. Taking an enemy capital (+4)

You've successfully sieged another player's capital and taken it. No need to wait for it to start producing.

10. Hosting a Tourney (+2)

You've announced a Tourney and enough people have come to participate.

11. Hosting a Grand Tourney (+5)

You've announced a Tourney and enough people have come to participate to make it a Grand Tourney.

12. Acquire a General trait (+2)

One of your Generals has picked a trait.

13. Building a Wonder (+10)

You've successfully completed one of the Wonders.

14. Defeat a Lord/Son of Lord in a trial by combat (+7)

Your captured character has defeated the Lord of the House which held him captive (or one of his sons) in a trial by combat.

15. Win a regular trial by combat (+3)

Your captured character has won a trial by combatm in which he wasn't facing the Lord of the House (or one of his sons).

16. Capture a Lord (+10)

You've captured the Lord of another player's House.

17. Capture an enemy general (+5); (+6 if the general has a trait); (+7, if he's also a knight)

You've captured another player's general.

18. Win a battle (+1)

You've won a battle.

19. Become a true King (+35)

You have proclaimed yourself (or were proclaimed) king. Points are awarded as soon as 3 players swear fealty to you.

20. A King swears fealty to you (+20)

A King, (who has at least 3 vassals) has sworn fealty to you.

Lose points

1. A colonization in progress being interrupted (-1)

You've started colonizing a region, but another player has sacked it before it was completed.

2. Losing a castle (-2)

Another player has sieged and taken one of your castles.

3. Your squire being captured (-2)

The squire of one of your generals was captured in battle (usually alongside the general).

4. Killing a squire/fosterling/hostage (-2)

You've killed a member of another player's House, who was supposed to be under your protection.

5. Killing a wife (-4)

You've murdered/sacrificed the wife of one of your characters.

6. Breaking a NAT (-3)

You've broken a NAT with another player by attacking him. Doesn't apply if you've officially retracted it before attacking.

7. Losing one of your active territories (-2)

Another player has sacked one of your active territories.

8. Failed siege (-3)

You've sieged an enemy castle, but your sieging force was defeated before the castle fell. Doesn't apply if you've abandoned the siege.

9. Losing your capital (-4)

Another player has sieged and taken your capital.

10. Failing to host a Tourney (-2)

You've announced a Tourney, but it was canceled because there weren't enough participants.

11. Losing your Heir in a Trial by Combat/ Tourney accident (-2)

Your Lord's immediate heir has died while participating in a Trial by Combat or a Tourney.

12. Losing your Heir in any other circumstance (-5)

Your Lord's immediate heir has died/been killed.

13. Losing a Wonder (-10)

You've lost your Wonder.

14. Lose a trial by combat to a Lord/ Son of Lord (-3)

Your captured character has lost a trial by combat to the Lord of the House which held him captive (or one of his sons).

15. Lose a regular trial by combat (-7)

Your captured character has lost a trial by combat in which he wasn't facing the Lord of the House (or one of his sons).

16. Your Lord was captured (-10)

Your Lord was captured by another player.

17. Your general was captured (-5); (-6 if the general has a trait); (-7, if he's also a knight)

One of your generals was captured.

18. Lose a battle (-1)

You've lost a battle.

19. Be rebelled against (-40)

You are a true King, but 3 of your vassals have rebelled against you.

20. Be a true King and swear fealty to another king (-20)

You are a true King (have at least 3 vassals) but you swear fealty to another King.
